The Belgian Air Transport Association (BATA) represents the interests of all commercial airlines in possession of a Belgian Airline Operator’s Certificate (AOC).

The Belgian aviation industry employs around 10.000 people, more than 7,500 of which are employed by the airline members and the affiliated members of BATA. The airline members of BATA operate more than 140 aircraft that carry 6 million passengers and 500,000 tonnes cargo annually.

The airline members are Brussels Airlines, European Air Transport (DHL),  Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium, TNT Airways, TUI Airlines Belgium (trading as JetAirFly) and VLM Airlines. Associate members are Aviapartner, CAE (Sabena Flight Academy), DHL Aviation and Sabena Technics.
